The short version: this website sets no advertising or tracking cookies, loads no third-party fonts, and only collects the details you choose to send through the contact form.

Visiting the website
When you visit, the hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and is based on my legitimate interest in running a reliable site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are not used to identify you.
Fonts are hosted on this website itself, so no data is sent to font services. There are no analytics, advertising or social media tracking scripts. If that changes, I will update this policy first.
The contact form
If you send an enquiry, the form sends your name, email, optional phone number and message to me via Web3Forms, a form delivery service, which forwards it to my inbox. I use these details only to reply and to discuss your website project (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Please do not include sensitive personal information in your message.
How long I keep your details
I keep enquiries for as long as we are in contact about a project, and delete them within twelve months if no project goes ahead, unless the law requires me to keep them longer, for example for invoices.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format. Email me and I will respond promptly. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. As the business is based in Schleswig-Holstein, the responsible authority is the Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (ULD). If you are in the UK, you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office.
